Malcolm Butters

Malcolm Butters, the president and founder of Butters Real Estate Funds, is well-known for his integrity, professionalism, and keen sense of the dynamics that drive the real estate market. These qualities were recognized by the National Association of Office & Industrial Properties (South Florida Chapter), which named him Developer of the Year in 1999 and 2003. He was also a Diamond Award Finalist in 2002, numbering among the top ten CEOs in Broward County chosen by the South Florida Business Journal.

Jeffrey Lapidus

Jeffrey Lapidus is Director of Acquisitions for Butters Real Estate Funds with direct responsibility for the identification and underwriting of investment opportunities, obtaining debt and equity, negotiating acquisition and financing documents, overseeing outside counsel, and investor relations. Mr. Lapidus has over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, both as a commercial real estate attorney with a major international law firm and as an investment broker with two national brokerage companies. He is a graduate of Stanford University and New York University School of Law.
